AC Shadows Introduces Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season

In a unexpected partnership that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the official release, "A strange meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine sect.

The mission centers on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Extra Material

Players who finish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Addition
